Many documents on the College website are stored in the format "Portable Document Format" (PDF). These documents are viewable using the Adobe product known as Adobe Reader. It is free software and needs to be installed onto your computer.

The College website offers the user to move from page to page using the main menu, seen above. Other ways of moving from page to page involve clicking a hyperlink. A hyperlink looks like this: It is displayed in a different colour and typeface. When the cursor moves over the link it changes to indicate that an event may happen when let go. Try it.

A link may perform many functions, some of which include taking you to a new page or launching your e-mail program ready to send a message.

Sometimes a new page or browser window will open leaving the one you clicked on still present but hidden. It's presence will be noticeable, however, by the icon in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.

Downloadable Files:

Generally the image indicates a file will be downloaded when clicked. This file can either be read and then closed, saved to disk or can be printed and then closed.
