Synopsis

The Wiz is a 1975 Broadway musical, an adaptation of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum The play features music and lyrics by Charlie Smalls.

Based on The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz by L. Frank Baum. The musical is an adaptation of the tale we all know by heart. Dorothy is blown by a tornado into munskinland where she meets the Scarecrow, the Tinman, and the Cowardly Lion. They all go off to see the Wizard of Oz, who turns out to be a phoney, but she starts believing and they all live happily ever after.
