Next Level Cricket Training

Well done to Year 8 student Lillee Barendsen, as she was lucky enough to train with the Melbourne Renegades cricket team last Monday, at the Cricket Victoria headquarters in Melbourne.

Lillee also had the pleasure of meeting Dan Christian, a key player of the Renegades.

Lillee has been playing cricket since she was in Grade 3 and in December 2018 she played in the curtain raiser for the WBBL Renegades match in Ballarat, along with some other Damascus students.

Earlier this year she played for Central Highlands under 14s team in the Victorian State Championships for the 3rd year in a row, and this year she was co-captain.

Well done Lillee, it is great to see your sporting talent pay off.
