Year 11 student Ellie Hennig departed Ballarat on Saturday and flew to Sydney with her Mum and coach Mark Stahl where she will be competing in her preferred event the 100m Breaststroke.

Year 9 student Ethan Rae competed at the School Sports Victoria (SSV) State Titles last Wednesday and won the 50m Freestyle Multiclass, the 50m Backstroke Multiclass and came 2nd in the 50m Breaststroke Multiclass. He will be competing in the coming days in not 1, not 2 but a total of 6 events at the Championships in Sydney.

Ethan through hard work, training and love of the sport earned a coveted spot to compete in the Boys (11-14) 50m Backstroke, Breaststroke  and Freestyle, as well as the 100m Breaststroke. He will also be swimming the Boys (11-18) 200m Freestyle.
