ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – LEADERSHIP TEAM

Damascus is experiencing an exciting period of growth and expansion and as a result, we are seeking an Administrative Assistant to work closely with and support the College’s Leadership Team. Reporting to the Deputy Principal, this varied role provides high level administrative assistance across a range of tasks as well as acting as a central point of contact between the Leadership Team and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

• Coordinate and manage multiple Leadership Team members’ calendars, proactively identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts
• Provide comprehensive meeting support; schedule meetings, prepare agendas and documents, manage resources, take minutes, and coordinate catering
• Monitor and manage email inboxes, monitoring, prioritising and responding to correspondence as appropriate
• Draft and proofread communication materials including weekly bulletins, newsletters, and formal correspondence
• Support the coordination of whole-school events, including logistical and content preparation
• Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and discretion at all times
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well to community members.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Data and analytical skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and support the values of a Catholic school in the Mercy Tradition.
