The Strategic Plan is a product of extensive consultation and a reflective process undertaken by the College leadership team, in collaboration with the School Advisory Council, and is informed by community feedback collected throughout the school review process.

2025-2029 Strategic Plan

Key Priorities

  1. Demonstrate a contemporary understanding of Catholic culture so that Damascus College can be a flourishing faith and learning community
  2. Empower all to contribute to the positive learning culture of Damascus College
  3. Promote excellence through a culture that demands a safe, inclusive, and collaborative learning community

The development of the Damascus College Strategic Plan has been a collaborative journey led by the College Leadership Team and enriched through meaningful consultation with staff, students, and parents. By thoughtfully triangulating data from the school community and Catholic Education Ballarat, a plan has been created that is both informed and visionary. Extensive consultation has been undertaken to ensure all voices have been brought to the table.

Building on the strong foundation of previous plans, this new Strategic Plan honours the richness of our Catholic tradition while boldly embracing a contemporary framework. It positions Damascus as a leader in co-education placing Christ’s Mercy at the heart. An education that nurtures faith, fosters excellence, and prepares students to thrive as compassionate, forward-thinking contributors to our world.
