VCAL Students Shine

Our year 11 VCAL students over Remote Learning were looking at many aspects of the term ‘Community’ and how they fit into the many Communities they are part of.
We also explored the power our students have to brighten the day/lives of others. Students were broken up into groups and chose to reach out to a Community who have made a positive difference during the pandemic. Students reached out to and made gifts for the COVID-19 testers/immunisers, Neonatal nurses at BHS, the Police Station, The Soup bus, Aged care in Mt Clear, the Animal Shelter and Woolworths.
Gayle Haintz and Belinda Dwyer took selected students on a road trip recently listening to the kids singing ‘Christ Be the Light’ along the way. We have some awesome students here! Well Done!
